One and half hour of drive from our office will take us to Sundarijal from where Chisapani to Nagarkot trekking commences. We will climb the stone steps and walk past the Sundarijal Dam which supplies drinking water to Kathmandu citizens. Walking further, we will enter the Shivpuri Conservation Area where we can get plenty of opportunities of bird watching. Pass through the Gurung settlements to Chisapani which enthralls us with stunning mountain views. Walk through forested area to Nagarkot which is the famous hillstation near Kathmandu for Sunrise and Mountain Viewing. There are plenty of photo shooting opportunities in this trek.

Day 01: Drive from Kathmandu (1310m) to Sundarijal (1350m), Trek to Chisopani (2140m)
Once the briefing regarding your trek is done by the guide, we will then drive for about an hour passing through Chabahail and Gokarna to reach Sundarijal which is the start point for our trek. From Sundarijal, we will follow the stone steps besides the water pipes that supply drinking water to Kathmandu. We will arrive at the entry point of Shivapuri Watershed and Wildlife Reserve. After paying an entry fee, we will follow the meandering trail passing through rhododendron forest to Mulkharka Village which is inhabited by Tamanag people. Moving further through the forest of oak and rhododendron, we will arrive at Borlang Bhanjyang. Brief descend from Borlang Bhanjyang will take us to Chisopani (2140m) from where we can enjoy panoramic views of Everest, Ganesh, Dorje Lakpa, Rolwaling Himalayan Range, Langtnag and Gaurishankar Mountains. Stay overnight in Chisapani.
Day 02: Chisopani to Nagarkot (2195m) Hike, Sunset view, O/N Hotel in Nagarkot
After an early breakfast, take the descending trail that passes through rhododendron and oak forest interrupted by dispersed settlements to Nagarkot. The route offers great countryside views. Reach to the Nagarkot tower. Nagarkot is the nearest hill station from Kathmandu. You can get unobstructed views of Kathmandu city and panoramic views of Everest, Manaslu, Gauri Shankar and other mountains from the tower. We will watch the sunset view in evening and stay overnight in a hotel to ease our tired soul and also to enjoy sunrise view.
Day03: Sunrise view, Drive to Bhaktapur Durbar Square, Drive back to Kathmandu
Wake up call will be given by the hotel staff early in the morning. We will reach Nagarkot tower for sunrise view over Himalaya. Nagarkot is famous for sunrise view. Remember to carry binocular for better mountain views. We will return to hotel for breakfast and then drive to the ancient Newari town of Bhaktapur. We will explore Bhaktapur Durbar Square and Nyatapol before driving back to Kathmandu.
